Welcome to the Jim Acosta Morning Memo on a Tuesday morning after Democrats dropped a bomb on Trump, and one of the Corinthians told Trump to shove his ballroom up his ass.

Grab your coffee or tea, and let’s go!

Smell The Desperation: Trump has been throwing everything at the wall to keep Democrats from wiping him out, including the latest — a million-dollar bounty for voter fraud tips.

Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Who’s gonna pay for it? Well, the MAGA-friendly reporter Trump talked to about it didn’t bother to ask.

Jeff Damn: Why so desperate? Among other things, House Judiciary Dems fired a loud warning shot when they released a staff report entitled “The Case Against Donald Trump Emerging in the Epstein Files and DOJ’s Desperate Efforts to Cover It Up.”

The intro says it all:

A growing body of evidence demonstrates that Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s. The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are doing everything they can to keep the American people in the dark about it.

Sample allegation from the report:

…Donald Trump’s representative invited [Beatrice] Keul to go upstairs at the Plaza Hotel to meet with Trump. Believing this meeting to be a lucky break for the purpose of furthering her career and education, Keul accompanied Trump’s representative upstairs. He ushered her into the suite, where upon entering, Trump reportedly grabbed Keul from behind and forcibly raped her; in the process, tearing her dress and causing bleeding and bruising on multiple parts of her body. Keul described the rape as “brutal.” Following the assault, according to Keul’s report, Trump sat her on the edge of the bed, repeated his promises to arrange for a visa and NYU admission, and made her promise she would keep quiet, saying, “[T]he show must go on.”

Cheesy Response: Back to that gaggle, Trump gave the existential opposite of a snappy response when a MAGA reporter asked him about President Obama’s Cheesecake Factory burn.

I don’t know how he stayed awake through that.

Hey Fellow Regular People: Scott Bessent went viral with this staged and absurd clap-back to Obama in which he claims to get Cheesecake Factory burgers on the reg. *Sure Jan GIF*.

Ban Roll On: If you’re wondering about the MAGA-ness of that gaggle, it might have something to do with this pool report from Hans Nichols of Axios:

Hello from the POTUS motorcade. I am taking over from the in-town pool for today’s trip to Corinth, Mississippi.

CNN was slated to be TV pool today, and Politico was slated to be print pool. Both outlets were blocked from travel by the White House. In the absence of the TV and print poolers, Axios will support coverage of the president by sending updates from the secondary print seat.

Corinthian Leatherface: Trump finally got to meet the Corinthians, made famous by this memorable gaffe.

But these Corinthians were in Mississippi, which brings us to our…

MAAP Check: It’s not exactly a dead heat, but in the deep red Mississippi Senate race, Cindy Hyde Smith finds herself in a tough call race with a 3.9% lead over Scott Colom in the average.

In the house, there is no polling for the past 90 days, but there are three our zone house races and one blue zone.

Nobody is going to bet the farm on Democrats taking this seat, but the fact that it’s so close says a lot about the Trump era.

So does his appearance in Texas today, where things ain’t looking great for Republicans.

James Tallarico leads Ken Paxton by 2.3% in the average, and Polymarket gives him a 67% chance to win.

In the Governor’s race, Greg Abbott holds a 2.7 point lead over Gina Hinajosa in another Tough Call race. There are also a handful of Tough Call House races in the Lone Star State.

Go check out the full MAAP for yourselves and try out the interactive function.

Speaking Of Texas: Jim Acosta was in the Lone Star State this week, and filed this report from a James Talarico rally.

Jim Acosta: All right, hey everybody, we just listened to James Talarico speak live in El Paso, Texas, one of his last events of this 2026 midterm campaign cycle, and he absolutely had this crowd going wild, especially at one point when he went after Elon Musk, who has been dumping in nearly $200 million into this campaign to support the Republican Ken Paxton.

When James Talarico told this audience that Texas is not for sale, the reaction was unbelievable. Take a look.

James Talarico: Elon Musk wants our land. He wants our water. He wants our tax dollars. He wants his very own personal United States senator. He is trying to buy Texas.

But on November 3rd, on November 3rd, we are going to deliver a crystal clear message to the world’s first trillionaire. Texas is not for sale.

Jim Acosta: They’re looking at some very good turnout numbers for Latinos in this state, and so we might see what I’ve been calling a unicorn, something we have not seen in a generation in this country, and that is a Democratic senator going to the United States Senate from the state of Texas.
