‘He Should Be Shot!’: Day Two of the RNC’s so-called “Trump-a-palooza Midterm Convention’ somehow managed to make Day One pale by comparison.
The undisputed lowlight came during Ted Cruz’s speech when he engaged in what became a sick and violent call-and-response as he attacked Democrats like Zohran Mamdani, Abdul El-Sayed, and James Talarico.
Ted Cruz: "When Mamdani says he wants to seize the means of production, he means it."
Crowd: "HE SHOULD BE SHOT!"
Cruz: "When Abdul El-Sayed says he has an obligation to Sharia Law, he means it."
Crowd: "HE SHOULD BE SHOT!"
Cruz: "And when James Talarico says he wants to dismantle capitalism, he means it."
Crowd: "HE SHOULD BE SHOT!"
Trump Gets Vicious: The runner-up for ugliest moment actually came after the convention, when Trump bared his teeth like a howler monkey at ABC’s Rachel Scott as she tried to call him out over the last time he promised checks and didn’t deliver.
SCOTT: You also offered tariff refund checks--
TRUMP: Not you! Not you!
SCOTT: And that didn't happen
TRUMP: (LUNGES) Not you! Your network, and you. You're the worst!
Loyalty Oaf: Trump led his bloodthirsty crowd in the Dear-Leaderest pledge of all to desperately beg them to vote and even to “cheat”:
Please right your right hand. I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States. That loves us so much he can't even breath. That I will go out with my family, my friends, I'll do it any way -- I don't care if I'm registered or not, I'm going to try to cheat like hell like they do…
It went on like that for a full two minutes.
The Old Eternal Torment Trick: After re-upping his bullshit promise to bribe everyone with a $5,000 check, Trump showed how not desperate he is by threatening infinite damnation if his fans don’t vote.
You know what happens if you don't vote? You go to hell!
