Welcome to the Jim Acosta Morning Memo on a Thursday morning after Trump got heckled in Ohio over the Epstein Files, Obama hit back at the Cheese-Fake outrage, and the midterms got one day closer. Five days!

Jeffed Out: Leading off, days after House Democrats dropped a bombshell report on Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, Trump continues to be loudly and spectacularly heckled over his connection to the deceased sex criminal.

In addition to what’s in that report, Trump appears in the Epstein Files tens of thousands of times, and that’s not counting the ones they’re still hiding!

His rally in Ohio was repeatedly interrupted, including with a song about Trump and the “Epstein Plane” by an activist who calls himself Robby Roadsteamer. Here’s a sampling of the interruptions.

TBH, it’s low-key kind of a bop. IJS.

Trump responded the way he usually does, with limp insults and claims that the protesters are paid “$250 dollars.” But he put a little hot mustard on one jab.

DAAAAMN! “Nondescript?!?” How’s he gonna recover from that?

Trump went on to riff about Jeffrey Epstein for a solid minute.

They say when you’re explaining, you’re losing. But what’s the word for when you’re ranting about Jeffrey Epstein for a solid minute five days before the midterms?

MAAP Check: Trump will be back in South Carolina today. On the heels of that stunning New York Times/Siena poll, the Senate race is a deadlock that’s trending in Dr. Annie Andrews’s direction.

She trails Darline Graham by just 1.4 points in the average, about half of the typical margin of error in polls. This is a virtual tie with five days to go.

There are also a couple of Tough Call House races, each of which show a two-point Republican advantage.

As it stands, if Democrats win the races they’re leading, they will control the senate with 52 seats. South Carolina would make it 53.

Go check out the full MAAP for yourselves and try out the interactive function, and share your own scenarios for Senate control.
