Abdul El-Sayed came out swinging against Trump-backed opponent Mike Rogers during a speech following his primary victory in the race to replace Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI).

On Tuesday night, El-Sayed appeared to have won, but the race was so close that the NY Times and other holdouts took until Wednesday morning to call it for Abdul El-Sayed.
